Nothing is Impossible

And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Mark 10:27

We trust that each dad had a great Father’s Day this month! I am thankful for my Heavenly Father who always provides my needs, loves me unconditionally and has given me an eternal home in Heaven.

The Building!

As stated in our last newsletter, God is a God of impossibilities. We arethankful for the building He has given us to start this new church and as we prepare for our first services, it is more evident how needy the area is and that this building is in the right location. After assessing the cost, the structural needs of modifying the building and speaking with the owners, we have decided to remove only one wall versus multiple walls. This will allow us to get into the building and start services unofficially and prayerfully by July 4th weekend. In time, as God blesses the church, we will reassess removing more walls for expansion.

Preparations

Since our last newsletter, we have been preparing for the start of the first service. We have had the opportunity to spend time in prayer at this location, take more measurements, order four 6×10 foot road-sign banners, 500 tracts, 2,500 door hangers and move in some of the hymn books needed to start services. Although we are unofficially planning to hold services July 4th weekend, we will have a Grand Opening date (sometime in August) a month after our unofficial services.
Once again, it is in a very noticeable location on Highway 45 that runs between Eagle River, Conover, Land O Lakes, WI and Watersmeet, MI; the property lines sit on the WI and MI border. It is also a 17-minute drive from the town of Phelps where we live. There is an opportunity to reach many with the Gospel.

The Need & Prayer Requests

We are currently in need of your continued support, not just prayerfully or financially, but physically through laborers. We need folks/churches who are willing to give us a couple of Saturdays to go out soul-winning/ door-knocking. Beyond the need of soul-winning, there are a few items that we would like to use for a year while the church is being established. Those items are: 24-30 padded auditorium chairs that are matching and in good condition to use in the 10 x 25 foot Chapel area, two to three 6-8 foot foldable tables, 16-24 folding chairs, and a tunable/electric piano in good condition. Our goal is to use God’s monies wisely and so if you are able to lend us some of these extra materials that you may not need at this time, it would be greatly appreciated. We are thankful for all of the support that we receive from each of you. If you can help in any of the previously stated ways, please contact me (info on Contact link, please note the NEW phone number).

Thank you

As always, my family and I would like to thank each of you for your prayers and support. It is always a joy to serve the Lord with each of you in our different fields of ministry! May the Lord bless your year of 2017 as we labor together for the Lord.

“We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father…”
—I Thessalonians 1:2-3

May the Lord Bless,
